Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma inaugurates newly renovated Bhaktinagar Police Station

Siliguri, 21st February: All the dilapidated police stations, outposts, and traffic guards under the Siliguri Metropolitan Police are being renovated.


Over the last few months, the station has been renovated under the leadership of IC Amaresh Singh of Bhaktinagar Police Station. Later today, the Bhaktinagar Police Station was inaugurated by Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma. The new police station has a conference-cum-investigation officer’s room, salute bench, ladies’ changing room, gym, and a Kali Mandir.


Commissioner Gaurav Sharma said that the Bhaktinagar police station is an important police station under the metropolitan police. Therefore, the police station has been prepared in a new way. A ladies changing room has been set up in the police station keeping in mind the needs of the female police personnel.

DCP Joy Tudu, ACP Shuvendra Kumar, Rajen Chhetri, Reserve Officer Aman Raja, IC of Bhaktinagar Police Station Amaresh Singh, and other police personnel were present at the programme.
