Siliguri, 28th August: Acting on a tip-off, a team of Detective Department of the Siliguri Police Commisionerate apprehended a person at Jatiakali More for illegal drugs possession.
The arrested has been identified as Jiaul Sekh (40) of Baishnab Nagar under Malda District. On search, the police recovered and seized 100 grams of brown sugar from him. A case under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act is being initiated at NJP Police Station.
