Siliguri, 04th May: The Siliguri Organizational District BJP Morcha, on Monday, submitted a memorandum to the SDO, with an appeal to waive off school fees during the COVID-19 lockdown. The memorandum was handed over under the leadership of District Secretary Kanaiya Pathak.
Pathak stated that it would be a huge burden if guardians are asked to pay the school fees during such a crisis. Therefore, the memorandum was submitted addressing the CM with a demand to issue a directive in this regard.
Parents are facing too much financial crunch during lock down period to pay their school fees.
So privet schools may fee-waived as follows
i)Annual fees 100%
ii) Monthly tution fees 50%
iii) Transportation charge 50%
I am a parent of nursery student in dps, siliguri, I am paying the monthly fees in full for the online classes being delivered. But why they are taking transportation fees also in full, they should take 50% if at all, like other schools!
