Siliguri, 26th June: A awareness program was organized on Monday at Hashmi Chowk, Siliguri, to mark the International Anti-Drug and Anti-Trafficking Day. The event was jointly organized by the Siliguri Woman Police Station and voluntary organizations such as Child In Need Institute (CINI), Gurukul, and Shakti Vahini.
Children actively participated in the program, holding placards and spreading awareness messages related to the significance of the day. The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness among children and the local community about the harmful effects of addictive substances. Subsequently, a rally was conducted by authorities and delegates, taking to the streets of the city to further promote the cause.
