Siliguri Nagarik Committee stages a rally against CAA, NRC, and NPR

Siliguri, 29th February: A rally was staged by the Siliguri Nagarik Committee, today, protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA), the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the National Population Register (NPR). A large number of intellectuals attended the rally. College Professor Bikas Ranjan Deb stated that on one hand, the Chief Minister attends rallies against the CAA, NRC, and NPR, in Bengal while on the other hand, she does not attend such rallies at other places. She also visits Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. The Professor further stated that the people of West Bengal will continue to protest CAA, NRC, and NPR in West Bengal.
