Siliguri, 14th March: The Siliguri Municipal Corporation organized a certification camp for specially abled persons at Baghajatin Park on Saturday. Mayor Gautam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, and other Municipal officials were present during the event.
Applicants underwent health check-ups conducted by doctors, and based on medical recommendations, disability certificates were issued on the spot to ensure specially abled individuals did not face unnecessary delays or difficulties.
Mayor Gautam Deb said the Municipal Corporation regularly conducts such camps to support specially abled persons, provide necessary medical assistance, and ensure timely access to essential services.
