Siliguri, 13th September: A new scheme has been made for the Rabindra Nagar fish traders of Siliguri. In the Rabindranagar area of Ward No. 21, fish traders have been engaged with their roadside fish business for a long time. Due to this common people are facing problems in movement and commuting.
Therefore, Mayor Goutam Deb is contemplating building a permanent place to allocate the fish traders and along with this, an alternative road for the common people. Today Goutam Deb along with the officials of the SMC took stock of the fish market located in the Rabindra Nagar area. He said that some land in the fish market area belongs to the business committee and some land belongs to the municipal corporation.
