Siliguri, 17th March: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh’s mother breathed her last on Sunday morning. Reportedly, the MLA’s mother Parul Ghosh was admitted to a nursing home in Siliguri following health deterioration on March 12 and was under medical care.
The MLA’s mother Parul Ghosh breathed her last after a heart attack. Later, as the deceased body was transported home, an atmosphere of mourning prevailed. Upon receiving the news, leaders of several political parties arrived at the MLA’s home.
