Siliguri, 17th July: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh has announced his intention to provide financial aid to the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) using funds from his MLA fund.
Reportedly, in a letter to the Municipal Commissioner on Tuesday, Ghosh expressed his desire to allocate these funds for the development of the city, particularly to address the significant issue of traffic congestion. He aims to finance the construction of high-quality parking facilities to alleviate this problem.
Ghosh stated that he will transfer all the funds from his MLA fund to the mayor once he receives a response from the mayor.
