Siliguri, 06th September: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh met the Administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Goutam Deb to figure out ways to deal with the issues faced regarding the MLA Development Fund. After meeting Deb, the MLA held a press conference at the district office.
“Earlier, it was seen that the MLAs had to face obstacles in using the money of the development fund. As a result, we spoke to Goutam Deb concerning the expenditure of money in different wards of the city. He assured that no problems will be faced from now on,” Ghosh said.
On the other hand, there have been drinking water problems in Siliguri for several days. In this regard, the MLA said that the state government is indifferent to the Fulbari water project. Despite spending money on various projects, no plan has been made to increase the water supply.
