Siliguri, 03rd August: Pankaj Singh, the youngest son of Surojit Singh, a resident of Singh Para near Gatebazar in Ward No. 33 of Siliguri, is suffering from a severe stomach ailment. Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh extended a helping hand for his treatment.
It has been learned that Surojit Singh somehow manages the expenses of his family by running a lottery shop. Meanwhile, his youngest son Pankaj has been suffering from a complex stomach ailment for a long time. The family is struggling to make ends meet and cannot afford their son’s medical expenses. Pankaj did not recover even after being treated at several private hospitals and North Bengal Medical College Hospital. He is currently bedridden at home and the doctors suggested taking him outside for proper treatment.
Meanwhile, BJP workers, including Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, went to Surojit Singh’s house on Tuesday after learning about the matter. He promised to make all arrangements for his treatment.
