Siliguri, 27th July: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh held a meeting with the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) on Thursday to address various issues, including the construction of a new underpass. The meeting was attended by Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) Councilors Shalini Dalmiya, Vivek Singh, Amit Jain, and other representatives.
During the meeting at the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) ADRM office, MLA Shankar Ghosh discussed several concerns with ADRM Sanjay Chilwarwar. One of the key issues discussed was the problem of water accumulation in underpasses during the monsoon, causing significant commuting difficulties in areas like Ambikanagar and Fuleswari. Additionally, the MLA urged the ADRM to consider constructing underpasses in Bagrakote and Swastika Club adjacent areas.
