Siliguri, 03rd April: The NJP police have intensified their investigation into the alleged murder of a minor girl, a grade 9 student, in the NJP police station area on Tuesday. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
As per reports, on Thursday, the NJP police took accused Rohit Roy to his residence to reconstruct the sequence of events based on eyewitness accounts. Various details were collected from the house during the process.
Earlier, on Wednesday, a forensic team visited the residence and gathered multiple samples for examination.
The victim’s family has accused Rohit and his associate of murdering the girl. A neighbour claimed to have seen Rohit leaving the house with the unconscious minor girl.
