Siliguri, 11th February: The Siliguri Metropolitan Police have come forward to help the needy elderly people of the city and its surrounding areas.
As per the report, an organization named ‘Do Nation’ as well as Enactus St Xavier’s College has taken this initiative with the assistance of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police.
The Siliguri Metropolitan Police has directed the Pradhan Nagar police station, Bhaktinagar police station, NJP police station, Matigara police station, Bagdogra police station, Ambari, and Milanpally outpost to provide all possible help to the elderly people of their areas.
Plastic buckets, water filters, and sweets were handed over to the needy elderly people today on behalf of different police stations.
