Siliguri, 02nd December: Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb visited the family of a schoolchild who lost his life in a tragic accident near Baneswar More on the Eastern Bypass two days ago.
During the visit, the Mayor listened to the mother’s account of the incident and assured the family of all possible support. He also said he would discuss traffic management measures on the Eastern Bypass with the police administration.
Addressing the media, Mayor Gautam Deb urged the public to remain cautious on the roads and emphasized the need for proper street lighting on the bypass to prevent such accidents in the future.
