Siliguri, 11th March: Man charged with the murder of his wife was detained by the police. The deceased has been identified as Khusboo Chettri. Her body was found hanging from a noose on Tuesday afternoon.
As per the report, Khushboo married Mohammed Anis, a resident of Fulbari Murder More seven years ago. The mourning family members of Khushboo stated that after marriage, both the families frequently quarreled with each other. They further accused Khushboo’s in-laws were the reason behind her death.
Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot and sent the body to North Bengal College-Hospital for an autopsy. A complaint has been lodged at the police station based on which, the police detained the husband, Mohammad Anis, and have further launched an investigation into the incident.
