Siliguri, 04th May: In order to increase employment through agriculture, the Siliguri Mahakma Parishad will provide saplings to farmers in the block. Arun Ghosh, the Chairman of Siliguri Mahakma Parishad, held a meeting with the District Mission Committee under the Horticulture Department of Siliguri Mahakma Parishad at Parishad’s office, this afternoon.
Following the meeting, Chairman Arun Ghosh stated that a survey will be conducted based on different blocks and locations will be assessed. The plants will be provided in places where the yield is good. Additionally, 155 ICDS centres have been visited where various types of plants will be planted.
