Siliguri, 25th September: Siliguri Greater Khuchra Vyavasayi Samiti, on Friday, handed over a memorandum to Ashok Bhattacharya, the chairman of the BoA at Siliguri Municipal Corporation, regarding various issues related to trade license.
According to the organization, they had earlier approached SMC in this regard on behalf of 72 markets in Siliguri. They alleged that they are being victims of unnecessary harassment in case of renewal of trade licenses.
The organization members demanded new trade license be issued immediately based on the old trade license. They further warned of staging larger demonstrations if appropriate steps are not taken soon in this regard.
