Siliguri, 5th June: A blood donation camp was organized by the alumni of Siliguri Girls High School and in collaboration with the Siliguri Suryanagar Samajkalyan Sanstha.
Reportedly, the camp was held to mark the 75th Foundation Day of Siliguri Girls High School on behalf of the alumni to help tackle the shortage of blood amid the pandemic. In the said blood donation camp, 50 people donated blood. The collected blood was sent to Siliguri Suryanagar Samajkalyan Sanstha.
Sangeeta Nath, an alumnus of Siliguri Girls High School said that there were plans to organize various programs on the occasion of the 75th Foundation Day of the school, but they prefered to conduct various social works to stand with the people amid the pandemic.
