Siliguri, 20th October: The Gate Bazar Youth Club in Siliguri has officially commenced preparations for this year’s Kali Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony. This year marks the 52nd anniversary of the club’s annual celebrations.
The theme for this year’s puja is “Matrichhaya” (Mother’s Shadow), and the organizers plan to use environmentally friendly materials to create the puja pandal.
Rajkumar Saha, the president of the Youth Club, expressed excitement about the upcoming celebrations, stating that in the 52nd year, their special attraction will be ‘Matrichhaya.’ The pavilion will be designed with decorative lighting.
Furthermore, the pavilion has been budgeted at approximately ₹4,00,000 rupees, and the organizers are hopeful that their celebration will capture the attention of the city’s residents.
