Siliguri, 07th August: A special programme will be organized tomorrow, August 08 at 5 pm, on behalf of the Cyber Crime Department of Siliguri Metropolitan Police. The event will be conducted through social media platforms. The main motive of the programme is to raise awareness concerning cybercrime which has increased significantly in recent times.
IC Subhashis Chaki of Siliguri Cyber Crime Department and other officials will be present during the programme.
As per the information, awareness concerning online scams and the precautions to take shall be raised among the general public. At the same time, the cyber officials will try their optimum level to clear the doubts of the common people in this regard.
To prevent crowds and maintain social distance, the Siliguri Metropolitan Police has decided to resort to social media to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus.
