Siliguri, 03rd August: Indian women’s hockey team created history, beating Australia 1-0 to reach the semifinals in women’s hockey for the first time at the Olympics.
On Tuesday, Siliguri Cricket Lovers’ Welfare Organization and the members of Siliguri’s women cricket team celebrated the team’s success by cutting a cake at Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium in the presence of the members of the Siliguri subdivision sports council. All extended their greetings and are hopeful that the team will win the Olympic semifinals on Wednesday.
