Siliguri, 18th March: The ‘Siliguri City Auto Bachao’ and ‘Sangram’ committee submitted a memorandum to the Siliguri Additional Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) in support of a 10-point demand.
As per the report, three-wheelers have been replaced by four-wheelers in the city. In this regard, the committee members raised multiple demands such as all the three-wheelers should get a fitness certificate and the process of pollution certificate renewal should be simplified.
The committee members raised their demands and warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
