Siliguri, 19th July: The Siliguri Central Colony Durga Puja Committee started Durga Puja preparations through Khuti Puja (pillar worship).
The Central Colony Durga Puja Committee in Siliguri presents the best puja in North Bengal every year. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Puja Committee gifted an attractive puja mandap in 2020 in compliance with the government rules.
Following the custom, the Central Colony Durga Puja Committee performed this year’s Khuti puja on the day of Ulto Rath. The members of the committee were present today.
Committee member Asim Bhowmik said that like last year, this year too, they will organize Durga puja following all government rules.
