Siliguri Bidhan Market likely to be shut down for 7 days once again

Siliguri, 22nd June: In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases across the city, Hong Kong Market’s Vyavasayi Samithi has decided to shut down all the shops of Siliguri’s market till June 30. Following this, the members of the Bidhan Market Vyavasayi Samithi visited several shops and held a discussion with the traders regarding the current COVID-19 situation.


It has been learned that considering the safety of all, the traders showed no objection in closing the market. According to the committee, a meeting will be held soon concerning the closure of the market.

The traders stated that the market should be closed for 07 days as of now.
