Siliguri, 04th July: Protests continue across the state over the Kasba gangrape incident, with lawyers from the Siliguri Court also joining in. On Thursday, the Siliguri Bar Association organised a protest within the court premises, demanding justice for the victim.
Lawyers staged a silent protest holding placards and demanded the immediate arrest and strict punishment of the accused.
Sandeep Das, Secretary of the Siliguri Bar Association, stated that the incident was not just an attack on a law student or lawyer but an attack on the entire judicial system. He condemned the incident and called for exemplary punishment for the culprits.
