Siliguri, 16th January: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the 25th flower exhibition cum trade fair will be organized on January 23 under the initiative of Siliguri’s Bidhan Market Byabsayee Samiti. In this regard, the members of the Bidhan Market Byabsayee Samiti announced the necessary information through a press conference held on Tuesday at the Siliguri Journalists Club.
According to reports, the event is reported to continue for four days. While addressing the media, Asim Karmakar, the convenor of the flower exhibition, addressed that on the occasion of Netaji’s birth anniversary; several events have been organized, including a flower exhibition, a chess competition, various cultural programs, a blood donation camp, and a painting competition for children.
He further stated that the fair attracts a large number of flower enthusiasts from both the hills and the plains every year. In addition, he appealed to all the flower enthusiasts to actively participate in the event.
