Siliguri, 28th February: A body, hanging from a noose, has been recovered from a lodge near the New Jalpaiguri station. The deceased has been identified as Subham Sharma, a resident of Sikkim.
According to the information received, the staff members of the said lodge informed the NJP Police, late night on Thursday, that Sharma’s room had been locked for a long time. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the scene and broke the door and sighted Subham Sharma’s body hanging from a noose. The police recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
