Alipurduar, 13th January: Shramik Mela commenced at the Alipurduar Indoor Stadium on Monday. The fair will continue till January 15.
The Minister-in-Charge of the Department of Labour Moloy Ghatak inaugurated the fair. The Minister-in-Charge of the Department of Technical Education Purnendu Basu, North Bengal Development Minister Rabindranath Ghosh, The Backward Classes Welfare Department Minister Binay Krishna Barman, MLA Sourav Chakraborty, and many more dignitaries were present during the inaugural event.
It was reported that there are 25 government stalls in the fair.
