Rajganj, July 13th: Authorities are investigating a case of shoplifting in Rajganj, where thieves targeted a food store in the Manuagachh area, under the jurisdiction of Majhiali Gram Panchayat. The perpetrators forcefully broke into the store, resulting in the theft of valuable items amounting to a significant sum of money.
Reports indicate that the burglars gained access to the store by tampering with the lock and proceeded to steal merchandise valued at Rs 90,000, which included both goods and cash. Shop owner Sunil Roy reported that he had securely locked the store on Wednesday night before leaving. However, upon returning the following morning to open the store, he found the damaged lock and realized that a theft had occurred.
Authorities were promptly notified, and the incident was reported to the police at Ambari Outpost. Currently, a thorough investigation is underway to identify the culprits and bring them to justice.
