Siliguri, 11th December: The 173rd birth anniversary of Maa Sarada Devi was celebrated with due reverence at the Atharokhai Ramkrishna Vedanta Ashram in Shiv Mandir, Siliguri, following the annual tradition.
Devotees began gathering at the ashram from early morning, travelling from distant places to participate in the celebrations.
Swami Samabuddhananda Maharaj, the secretary of the ashram, stated that the day-long observance included special worship rituals, Vedic recitations, Mangalarati, devotional singing by devotees, distribution of prasad, as well as various social and cultural programs.
The event highlighted both spiritual devotion and community participation, drawing large crowds to mark the auspicious occasion.
