Siliguri, 01st July: Shankar Kumar Das took charge as the new District Governor of Lions District 322F. Former District Governor Abhijit Sen felicitated Das and handed over all the responsibilities to him at an event held at the District Office in Siliguri’s Burdwan Road.
It is to be noted that District 322F has more than 120 clubs from Malda to Cooch Behar. Former District Governor Abhijit Sen said he has launched several projects in the last year in collaboration with the entire team. Many women have become self-reliant through the ‘Sui dhaga’ scheme. Besides, the whole team has unitedly worked for the common people amid the pandemic.
On the other hand, Shankar Kumar Das, who has been appointed as the new District Governor, thanked everyone and said that he would take Lions Club 322F further ahead in 2021-2022.
Tamal Dasgupta (BDG 1), Hemant Agarwal (BDG 2), Cabinet Secretary Gitesh Tibrewal, Cabinet Treasurer Sahil Gupta, Suresh Singhal, Vishnu Kedia, Pankaj Maskara, spokesperson Bimal Agarwal, and many others were present at the programme.।
