Phansidewa, 23rd November: An incident of mishap surfaced from Dangapara of Bidhannagar on National Highway (NH) 31 in Phansidewa block, where a passenger bus rammed into a truck. The incident left several people injured including the bus driver.
According to reports, on Thursday, a goods-laden truck was stationed on the side of the said NH due to a mechanical fault. During this, a passenger bus heading towards Siliguri from Bihar lost control and rammed into the back of the truck in the Dangapara area. Consequently, several passengers including the bus driver were injured.
Subsequently, the injured were rescued and transported to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for medical care. Currently, the police are engaged in detailed investigation of the entire incident.
