Alipurduar. 03rd February: A horrifying incident surfaced on the Falakata-Birpara National Highway in the Dalimpur area where a bride’s passenger bus met with an accident while on the way to the reception ceremony. The incident led to the injury of seven individuals.
Local sources revealed that on Friday night a passenger bus left for Malbazar to attend the bride’s reception ceremony from 2.5 miles of Falakata. The bus abruptly lost control in the Dalimpur area and crashed into an areca nut plantation on the roadside. Consequently, seven individuals including the bride’s father sustained injuries in the incident.
Upon receiving information, the cops of Falakata police station arrived at the spot. Significantly, the injured were rescued with the help of locals and transported to Falakata Super Speciality Hospital. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
