Bagdogra, 16th May: A collision between a scooty and a bus near Bagdogra Station More, resulted in critically injuring the scooty rider. The injured rider has been identified as Gopal Malik (25), a resident of Harekrishna Pally in Bagdogra.
Eyewitnesses at the scene attributed the accident to the alleged negligence of the scooty rider. It is reported that Malik attempted to cross the road without being attentive to the approaching public bus. This lack of awareness led to the collision between the two vehicles. Local residents promptly came to the aid of the injured rider and took him to the Bagdogra Primary Health Center for urgent medical attention.
Upon receiving the news, personnel from the Bagdogra Traffic Guard swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Police are investigating the incident.
