Siliguri, 24th June: MD Noor Alam, accused of a deadly attack on his nephew with scissors, was arrested by Siliguri police and presented in court on Monday.
The incident occurred earlier on Sunday in the Tikiapara area under Ward No. 28, where a dispute over money led Noor Alam to stab his nephew, MD Azad, multiple times in the stomach with scissors. Azad sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Siliguri District Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
Police apprehended Noor Alam a few hours after the attack. On Monday, the accused has been presented in Siliguri court. The case is under investigation to uncover further details.
