Kurseong, 16th November: Adhering to COVID-19 guidelines all schools in and around Kurseong reopened from today. It is to be noted, schools in West Bengal resumed on Tuesday for students of classes 9-12 after shutting doors for physical classes for nearly 20 months owing to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
Before entering the school premises, all students were informed to follow the COVID-19 protocols. Teachers and staffers welcomed the pupils with hand sanitiser and checked their temperature and advised them to wear masks at all times throughout the school hours. Students are also required to abide by the rules of social distance in the classroom and pay special attention to cleanliness.
Along with the students, the teachers and parents also expressed happiness over the reopening of the schools. State Education Minister Bratya Basu on Sunday said that in-person classes for students of every standard will resume in a phased manner.
