Rajganj, 17th February: A road accident in the Bhelki Para area of Sahudangi, Rajganj, on Tuesday led to injuries after a school bus allegedly hit a ‘Phuchka Cart’.
According to local sources, a private school bus carrying students was heading towards school when the incident occurred. At the same time, a phuchka vendor was moving along the same road with his cart. It has been alleged that the bus, coming from behind at high speed, rammed into the cart.
The impact caused the cart to overturn, throwing the vendor onto the road and scattering the food items. The vendor sustained injuries in the accident.
Local residents rushed to the scene and assisted the injured vendor. Considering that schoolchildren were on board, the bus was allowed to leave the spot. However, eyewitnesses questioned the speed of the vehicle.
Police have begun an investigation into the matter. Residents have demanded stricter traffic regulation and speed control measures in the area to avoid similar incidents in the future.
