Siliguri, 06th August: After a few days of intense heat, several parts of the city experienced scattered rains this evening. This has made the people of Siliguri hopeful for a drop in temperature.
It is to be noted, Siliguri witnessed extreme temperatures for the past three days. However, the meteorological department predicted little rain in the city today.
On the other hand, heavy downpour was witnessed in Kalimpong, yesterday, resulting in several landslides.
