Siliguri, 26th July: BJP’s state general secretary Sayantan Basu held a meeting with the party workers in Siliguri. After the meeting, he took a jibe at the state government over COVID vaccination and criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s visit to Delhi.
Sayantan Basu said that Chief Minister should visit Delhi and take a good look at Red Fort, Old Fort, Qutub Minar. She should enjoy the rain in Delhi. “If someone can be the Prime Minister with 42 seats, then anyone can be the chairman of Mars. It is good to dream,” Basu mocked Banerjee.
Furthermore, in the context of COVID vaccination, he said that while the central government is giving free vaccines, the Trinamool Congress is carrying out corruption with crores of rupees.
