Sant Nirankari Mission organizes International Yoga Day, emphasizing ‘One World, One Health’

Siliguri, 21st June: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the members of of Sant Nirankari Mission, Siliguri Branch, Zone No. 47, observed the day with great enthusiasm at their Pradhan Nagar Satsang Bhawan. Approximately 150 devotees participated in the yoga camp. Similar yoga camps were organized across approximately 400 branches of the Sant Nirankari Mission throughout India, adhering to the theme of “One World, One Health.” Many camps were organized in open places or parks, showcasing the devotees’ enthusiasm.


Under the divine guidance of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Maharaj and Reverend Rajpita Ramit Chandna, the Sant Nirankari Mission focuses on spiritual awareness while undertaking numerous projects for social welfare and environmental protection. Satguru Mataji emphasizes that “spiritual awakening is possible only when we are physically and mentally healthy.” Reverend devotee Joginder Sukhija, the secretary of Sant Nirankari Mandal, supervised the arrangements for the yoga camps in all branches of India. These camps have been organized since 2015 by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the social wing of the Nirankari Mission. The practice of yoga has now been embraced by countries around the world.

In one of her discourses, Sadguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj stated, “To cultivate a healthy mind and lead an easy life, we must keep our bodies fit, considering them as priceless gifts from God Almighty.”
