Siliguri, 08th March: Sensation prevailed after the body of a youth, identified as Raj Mohan Sutadhar was recovered with a slit throat on Sunday. Reportedly, the deceased, who was a resident of Tikiapara was missing for the past few days.
As per the report, the locals complained of a rotten smell coming from the Jotsnamoyee High School’s hostel premises under ward number 27 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation today and immediately informed the police.
Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot, recovered the body from the hostel’s well and sent it to North Bengal Medical College-Hospital for an autopsy.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
