Siliguri, 21st July: In a significant achievement, the Rotary Club of Siliguri inaugurated its 57th Club Installation meeting at the Rotary Hall in Pradhan Nagar. During this, Rotarian Nitesh Agarwal assumed the post of President, alongside Club Secretary Rotarian Arvind Soni and their newly formed team.
According to reports, the installation ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including renowned former Indian Football Player, Manas Bhattacharya, as the Chief Guest, and Guest of Honour Rotarian Sumit Goyal, Assistant Governor of Zone 6, District 3240.
Speaking in this regard, Former President Rotarian Ajit Kumar Thakur expressed gratitude to members for their support throughout the preceding year. Former Secretary Pulkit Bansal delivered a secretarial Report for Rotary Year 2023-24.
Notably, the Rotary Club of Siliguri has been a pillar of humanitarian efforts in the community for over 56 years. With ongoing initiatives such as the permanent project Blood Centre, free cataract surgery, and various social projects, the club is committed to improving lives in Siliguri.
