Rajganj, 08th February: The Rajganj police, as well as the Jalpaiguri District Police, observed Road safety week, on Monday. The safety week was celebrated in the Rajganj market through the ‘Save Life Safe Drive’ campaign.
Awareness was raised among the motorcyclists regarding the traffic rules. Besides, winter clothes were handed over to around 25 needy people. At the same time, reflectors were put on bicycles to reduce the number of bicycle accidents.
IC of Rajganj Police Station Pankaj Sarkar, Rajganj Traffic OC Atul Chandra Das, Rajganj Block President Laikkhya Mohan Roy, Sukhani Anchal Pradhan Shampa Dutta, and many others was present at the programme.
