Siliguri, 02nd November: A youth lost his life in a tragic road accident in the Siliguri Shaktigarh area, on Tuesday morning. Another youth sustained serious injuries. The deceased has been identified as Anwar and the injured as Harun Miya.
It has been learned that the two youths were on their way to Siliguri on a motorcycle. At that time, a bus coming from behind rammed into the vehicle, killing one on the spot. The rider Harun Miya has been severely injured.
Upon receiving the news, NJP police and Jalpaimore traffic police rushed to the spot. The injured youth was rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Police have recovered the body and started an investigation into the incident.
