Rajganj, 31st March: Discontent within the BJP over candidate selection in Rajganj appears to have subsided, with party workers and supporters now rallying together to begin campaign activities.
Just a few days ago, scenes of protest and dissatisfaction were witnessed over the choice of candidate. However, party workers now claim that differences have been resolved and unity has been restored within the organisation.
Speaking to media on Tuesday, BJP candidate for Rajganj Assembly constituency Dinesh Sarkar said there are no divisions within the party and that everyone is working together.
Workers and supporters who had earlier taken part in protests also stated that their differences have been settled. One supporter said that all members are now united and will campaign together, expressing confidence that BJP will secure a strong victory in Rajganj.
A bike rally was also carried out by party workers and supporters, accompanied by candidate Dinesh Sarkar, marking the beginning of the campaign on a united note.
