Alipurduar, 05th March: The rhino census has commenced in Jaldapara National Park with the help of 70 Kumki elephants.
According to reports, a total of 193 teams are involved in conducting the census, with 400 people engaged in the process. Among them, 13 members belong to NGOs, along with forest workers and forest department officials.
The census operation began early on Wednesday morning in Jaldapara.
