Siliguri, 14th November: Six days have passed since the mysterious death of 25-year-old Pushpa Chhetri in Siliguri, yet the cause remains unresolved. In a bid to uncover new leads, a forensic expert team from the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (RFSL) in Jalpaiguri has arrived in Siliguri.
It is to be noted that Pushpa Chhetri was found dead with her throat slit in the Lower Bhanu Nagar area under Ward No. 43 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, an incident that has shaken the entire city. Following the discovery, Bhakti Nagar police launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
On Wednesday evening, a three-member RFSL team from Jalpaiguri arrived at the scene to conduct a detailed forensic investigation. They have collected multiple pieces of evidence, including blood samples and fingerprints, which will aid the police in examining the case from all possible angles.
With assistance from the forensic team, the police are investigating the incident from every angle. It now remains to be seen when the mystery of Pushpa Chhetri’s death will be resolved.
