Rajganj, 30th May: Ration was distributed among 206 needy people in Rajganj, on Sunday.
Rahul Islam, a primary school teacher, had been delivering cooked food to people’s doorstep ever since the lockdown was imposed in the state. Later some more people from the area joined him in his initiative. They jointly delivered cooked food to 206 poor people today.
Rahul Islam, an assistant teacher at Netaji Subhash Primary School in Baldapukur, Rajganj, said that initially, he delivered home-cooked food to poor families on his own initiative, but later many stepped forward to assist him. He assured to take more such initiatives in the future.
