Siliguri, 25th August: The Rathkhola Nabin Sangha in Siliguri has officially kicked off its Durga Puja preparations with a traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony. This year’s theme, ‘Moder Pran Gacher Dan,’ focuses on environmental conservation and aims to highlight the importance of preserving nature.
The ceremony was attended by Puja Committee Secretary Joydeep Das, President Krishna Das, Ward 22 Councilor Dipta Karmakar, renowned social worker Dhiman Bose, and other club members. In addition to the pole ceremony, the club honoured three young karate players training at their grounds.
In this regard, Joydeep Das, Secretary of the Rathkhola Nabin Sangh Puja Committee, announced that this year’s celebrations will feature a unique approach and include several special events during the Puja.
